The family Šimić has twenty years of experience in hospitality and the fruit and logical continuation of their work is the Hotel Ana. After realizing that on the area of the town of Gospić, after war destructions, there was no adequate accomodation of the hotel type, so the decision was made to build the Hotel Ana which opened its door in July 2003, at the beginning it had the capacity of 17 rooms (70 beds). In July 2005 the hotel expanded its capacity for the extra 32 beds, so at the moment capacity of the hotel is 70 beds. Future plans are the expansion of the capacity for 250 extra beds, construction of the wellness centre, big congress hall with 300 sitting places, as well as sport fields and many other recreational contents.

 

Why Ana?

Ana is the name of Ana Šimić, the owner, she is the daughter of the originator of the idea and the creator of the Hotel Ana, Mr Dane Šimić.
